Advancing Orthopedic Medicine

Biologic Solutions for Orthopaedic Tissue Repair

G-Ortho develops porcine-based biologic grafts that address the limitations of current tissue repair options, providing surgeons with consistent, readily available alternatives for ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and tendon reinforcement.

About G-Ortho Inc.

Solving the Allograft Supply Problem

The demand for allograft tissue far exceeds supply, leaving surgeons and patients with limited options. G-Ortho Inc. provides a consistent, readily available alternative through our proprietary G-Process technology.

Our xenograft solutions offer surgeons an "off-the-shelf" biologic option that requires no change to their surgical procedure, while providing patients with safe, effective, and durable tissue repair.

  • Achilles tendon reinforcement
  • Biologic tissue matrix

G-Fix

Bone Fixation

A porcine cortical bone fixation device that provides a complete biologic solution when used with G-Lig for ACL replacement.

  • Biologic bone fixation
  • Complete biologic solution
  • Xenograft bone screws

The G-Process Advantage

1

Proprietary Wash Cycles

Remove cells and fatty material from the tissue

2

Alpha-Gal Removal

Proprietary process removes alpha-gal antigens that trigger immune rejection

3

Neuraminidase

Proprietary process removes the primary non-gal antigens further humanizing the tissue

4

Immune Modulation

Modulates secondary immune response for optimal tissue integration

5

Terminal Sterilization

Below 2 mRads assures sterility

6

Ligamentization

Xenograft remodels into human tissue over time

Our Technology

Understanding Alpha-Gal and Non-Gal Antigens & the G-Process

Lower species express specific carbohydrate epitopes called alpha-gal and non-gal antigens. Humans have evolved to produce antibodies that bind to these antigens, initiating rapid immune rejection.

The G-Process removes these antigens using proprietary enzyme-stripping technology, preventing the initial immune system attack and enabling xenograft tissue to successfully integrate with human tissue.

"The G-Process creates xenograft tissue that is young, healthy and strong which, 'ligamentizes' into normal appearing ACL tissue over time."
